If the original sales receipt/invoice is not available, the original purchase date shall be determined by reference to the date stamp on the battery. The original Customer may establish the date of purchase by presenting the sales receipt/invoice for the purchase of his/her original battery. An Authorized Provider will have a reasonable time to test the original Customer’s original battery and, if defective, replace it according to the terms of this limited warranty.ĭate of Purchase: The original Customer’s limited warranty begins on his/her date of purchase and extends for the number of months shown on the chart below. What To Do: To obtain a replacement battery, the original Customer must present his/her original battery to an Authorized Provider that has an appropriate replacement battery in stock. The original Customer’s replacement battery will not have any new or separate warranty coverage. Battery prices may vary by region and are subject to change at any time without notice. T he original Customer will still need to pay any taxes and legislatively imposed fees on his/her replacement battery, and the original Program Customer may also need to pay labor and installation charges. Any warranty coverage that remains on the original Program Customer’s original battery (when he/she returns it for a replacement battery under this limited warranty) will carry over to the replacement battery. The Applicable AAA Price on the date you return your original battery may not be the same price you paid for the original Program Customer’s original battery, and such price shall reflect existing prices applicable to the location of the purchase of the replacement battery. Any replacement battery obtained under this limited warranty must be identical or reasonably equivalent to the original Customer’s original battery.

If the battery fails due to a defect during the Discount Period, the original Customer may purchase a replacement battery at the then-current AAA price for members or non-members, as applicable (“Applicable AAA Price”), less a discount in the amount shown in the chart below from the then Applicable AAA Price of the warranted battery.

If a battery fails due to a defect during the Free Replacement Period, the original Customer may obtain a free replacement battery. IB’s limited warranty has a Free Replacement Period, and an additional Discount Period. IB’s Limited Warranty: IB warrants that the original Customer’s battery is free of defects in material and workmanship for the duration of the warranty periods listed in the chart below. What Batteries Are Covered: Interstate Batteries® (IB), an independent supplier, provides this limited warranty to (1) the original purchaser (“Customer”), (2) of a battery supplied by Interstate Batteries® that is a American Automobile Association (AAA) branded battery (“AAA Branded Battery”), (3) when purchased from an authorized seller of AAA Branded Batteries in one of the States (each an “Authorized Provider”). “States” means the 50 states of the United States of America.
